An American Werewolf in Kipsburg, USA
~EPILOGUE~
This is it. I swear!
=====================================================================
Rebo's voice can now be heard as a voiceover. "Well, once Al and I explained the
whole ordeal to the band, they were understanding. After they read the list of side
effects, they also promised to buy Al some squeaky toys. Plus, they drove me home in the
tour bus! THAT WAS SOOOOOOOO COOL!"
The scene changes to show Rebo and Al standing at Rebo's doorstep. "Well, since it
was after midnight, I figured my mom would be rather upset. But she was actually very
understanding..."
The door opens to reveal Rebo's mother, wielding a rolling pin, which she promptly beats
Al over the head with. Rebo gasps. "Well, okay, she was just a little mad."
Scene change to Rebo's living room, where Rebo, Rebo's mother, and Al, who now has a bump
on his head, are all sitting in soft chairs. "But once we explained to her that I had
fainted during the concert and Al had waited to bring me home until I woke up, she was
more forgiving..."
Rebo's mom starts beating Al with the rolling pin again. "That is, once we called
Wendall and had him hypnotize her into submission."
Wendall is shown swinging a watch in the face of Rebo's mother, who has a vacant look in
her eyes.
"So after that, Al left. While I did hear that he was howling strangely at the moon
on stage for a few nights, he was otherwise okay."
The scene shifts to show Rebo at the airport, anxiously waiting at the gate. She is
wearing her outfit from the beginning of the story.
"The next day...BOBBY CAME HOME!!! I had SOOOO much to tell him!"
Bobby walks out of the gate and is immediatly bear-hugged by Rebo. "BOBBY! Thank you
SOOOOO much! You really came through for us!" she squeals.
"Really?" he says, "So, what all happened?"
"Well, see, it all started when I saw Al backstage last night, and we decided to take
a trip..."
~SOMETIME LATER, AT AL'S HOUSE...~
Al shot up out of bed screaming, in a cold sweat. He'd had a horrible nightmare. He gasped
for breath. "Wow...what a horrible nightmare!" he said.
He looked over at Harvey's cage, watching Harvey go at the hamster wheel like a champ.
"I've been having them ever since Halloween..." he said, "It's really
getting annoying."
He watched Harvey some more. "I wonder why werewolves and stuff made me start
dreaming about the lederhosen and the sour cream again?" he thought aloud.
He shrugged, then nestled up in his bed and soon fell fast asleep.
THE END=D
