Answer #8 8. What made you create Spatula City? Here's the story: In the not too distant future (thanks, MST3K), I, Mayor Christie, was watching Emeril Live. While hearing the "BAM! BAM!" of peppers getting chopped and craving that gourmet meal, the thought hit me. And it hit me hard. Rubbing my head to reduce the pain, I was thinking, Whoa, dude. If he could make a dynamite dinner, I could make a weird website. So I went right to work. I called Weird Al and asked him if he could pose for pictures to put on my website. Because we're good friends, he agreed. I gave Al a sign saying "Spatulas ROCK!", took a picture, and added it onto the site. Then I told him to go find a green oven mit, an apron, and a spatula. I made him pose the same exact way he does in the Running With Scissors picture. And because that was my most favorite picture, I just had to add it. It was wonderful working with him. After all that, I added everything else and I will keep adding more and more and more and more! Then I'm going to take over the world and capture other planets and be the almighty ruler of the universe! YAY! So to make a long story short, I made the website because I'm obsessed with spatulas and I also like locking myself in the refrigerator. The end. *** back to the questions |
